In 1952, Eisenhower was elected as President. He chose Charles Wilson to be his Secretary of Defense and Richard M. Nixon to be his Vice President. In 1954, he asked to be updated on the Vixen 03 by Admiral Walter Bass. He was frustrated to learn of the airplane's disappearance, and ordered Admiral Bass to bury it deep. Later on in 1959, he met with CIA director Alan Dulles to discuss the possibility of sending support into Tibet. Eisenhower denied the request.
